After spending most of my working life as a press photographer and photo journalist I set up my studio in 2012.

I have a passion for shooting people and the studio gives me full control of the look I am after. I pride myself on my lighting skills and love getting creative which results in images with a mood, drama, emotion and an edge. I especially enjoy Black & White which stems from my early film days.

Before every shoot I look to get an imput from my clients and always ask for images which they have seen and like, so we can work together to create great images.

I also pride myself on my editing, a lot different now from my darkroom days. Taking a photo is only the start, it’s like a good dish…. the taking is the incredients, the editing is where the magic happens.
